You may also see James and Chris when you visit us, they are a little camera shy - we are working on it!

Rochelle
Hi, I'm Rochelle, proud owner of High Lanes Cattery!

Since opening our family run business in 2025, we have been blown away by the support of the lovely local community and the wonderful people and cats that we have met.
When I'm not looking after our feline guests, I'm a busy mum to two daughters who love playing with the cats just as much as I do. I enjoy listening to music, cooking, wintery walks on the beach and spending quality time with my family and friends.

Alongside running the cattery, I work as a nurse, which means care, compassion, and attention to detail are at the heart of everything. I’ve also completed a Level 3 qualification in Feline Care, Behaviour, and Welfare, so you can be confident your cats are in safe loving hands when staying at High Lanes Cattery.

Angela
Hi, I’m Angela, and I’m delighted to be part of the team at High Lanes Cattery. Caring for our lovely feline guests is something I truly enjoy, and I take great pride in helping to create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment for every cat in our care.

When I’m not looking after the cats or spending time with my grandchildren, I love walking the coastal path, enjoying trips to the theatre, and travelling with my husband, Chris.
My favourite destination is the Greek islands, where I love soaking up the sunshine, culture, and beautiful scenery.

I’m thrilled to have completed my Level 3 qualification in Feline Care, Behaviour, and Welfare, as well as Animal First Aid.

Ellie
Hi, I’m Ellie, and I work part-time at our family-run cattery, where I love helping to care for the cats. Playing with the cats is one of my favourite parts of the job, I enjoy making sure they feel comfortable, settled, and well-looked after during their stay.

When I’m not at the cattery, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, I can never say no to a bit of chocolate, especially Dairy Milk! I’m also a huge fan of musical theatre, whether that means being in the audience watching a show or stepping onto the stage myself to perform. Music and performing are a big part of who I am, and I love bringing that same energy and care into everything I do at the cattery.

Daisy
Hi, I’m Daisy, and I help out at the cattery! I love greeting our visitors when they arrive and helping to make both the cats and their owners feel welcome.

My favourite job is giving the cats lots of cuddles, playtime, and treats (only if they’re allowed, of course!). I also help out with jobs around the cattery and don't mind getting my hands dirty - cleaning litter trays and feeding the cats but most importantly making sure they feel happy and loved when they’re staying with us.

When I’m not busy looking after the cats, I love doing gymnastics, roller-skating, singing and colouring!

Libby
We are happy to introduce Libby, who is completing her work experience placement with us from Duchy College. Libby has a wonderful way with animals and a genuine love for their care and wellbeing.
During her time with us, Libby is gaining valuable hands-on experience in every aspect of our cattery care, from daily routines to spending quality time with our feline guests.
Libby will be with our team until later this year, and she has already become a lovely part of the cattery. We are really enjoying having her help and feel very lucky to have Libby with us.
